A-Brokers was started in 2003 by Håkan Filipson who has worked in the Institutional Equity Business since 1985.

The idea to form A-Brokers came as a direct response to comments made by our institutional clients who made it very clear that they were looking for a new type of broker. Plainly, they were looking for an 'A-lternative'! (Hence our name!)

A-Brokers provides ideas only (no maintenance!) research services to large institutional investors. Dealing is handled by our most competent trading partners in some of the world's largest banks.

The company has been profitable since its start in November 2003.
